Cooking Instructions
One of the great features of our samosas is the crispy texture that is maintained whether you deep fry or bake them. If you want to reheat samosas that you have already cooked, just follow our reheating instructions and enjoy!
For a better experience we recommend that you cook from frozen.
Frying Instructions
From Frozen:
- Preheat oil to 325⁰F (162⁰C)
- Deep fry samosas for 7 to 9 minutes (if shallow frying in pan, add enough oil to submerge samosa, flipping after 3 minutes) until golden brown
- Do not overload basket or pan
- It will take 4-5 minutes for samosas containing cheese
From Thawed State:
- Samosas may be thawed under normal refrigeration temperatures or using a microwave oven
- Preheat oil to 325⁰F (162⁰C)
- Pan or deep fry samosas for 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown
- Turn as required
Baking Instructions
From Frozen:
- Preheat oven to 400⁰F (204⁰C)
- Lay samosas out on a shallow baking tray
- Place on the middle rack of the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Turn once or twice during baking
- Lightly brush or spray both sides of samosas with cooking oil
- Set oven to broil and leave samosas in for another 5 minutes (turning once in between) until samosas are golden brown
- Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving
Re-heating Pre-fried Frozen Samosas:
